White iPhone 4 slightly thicker than Black version

Besides the royal wedding taken place today reports are coming in that the white iPhone 4 is 0.2mm thicker in comparison to the black version of the phone.  Many people are reporting that the same cases they have for the black version do not fit.  What does this mean for the white iPhone 4?  Would you carry the phone without a case on it?  Are the manufacturers going to make white iPhone 4 cases now? PlayStation Network #FAIL

On Tuesday, Sony issued a statement informing us about the recent PlayStation Network outages.  The claim to have become aware of the outage between April 17th -19th, where someone broke into its network and stole user information.   So the brilliant minds at Sony decided to shut down the network while they investigated the situation.  Here is Sony’s statement:

We believe that an unauthorized person has obtained the following information that you provided: name, address (city, state, zip), country, email address, birthdate, PlayStation Network/Qriocity password and login, and handle/PSN online ID. It is also possible that your profile data, including purchase history and billing address (city, state, zip), and your PlayStation Network/Qriocity password security answers may have been obtained.

They also claim that they don’t think credit card data has been taken but can we really be sure or trust them?  I mean a week ago it was just an outage which many people believed was  because of Portal 2 coming out and having steam integration.  The internet though that GlaDOS was involved with the shut down.  Sony says you can call 1-800-345-7669 with any questions.  Here is the official statement:  (more…)

Do you still want a white iPhone?

After 10 months of waiting and hearing rumors of the white iPhone finally your dream has come true.  Or has it?  Apple is finally releasing the mythical White iPhone 4 ($200-$300).  It has the exact same specs as the black iPhone but now you can have it is classic Apple white.  When you take it out to show people this fall you will suddenly feel inferior to your baby cousin’s iPhone 5 or 4GS.  Let us know in the comments if you picked up a white iPhone 4 or if you plan to.

TweetDeck 2.0 Released

Head to the App store and pickup the new “redesigned and rebuilt. Fast, powerful, with more… TweetDeck.”  I have played with the app all morning and I have to say it is a total redesign and I do like the unified timeline of Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare.  I think the direction they decided to go with suits individuals needs.  Having all your information in one timeline just makes sense.  This is a free download of a new app not an update to the existing tweetdeck, so head to the storeand download it now.  Please let us know what you think in the comments.
